Behind the Canvas of Gómez Saucedo

This documentary, created as my final thesis project at Tecnológico de Monterrey, offers an intimate glimpse into the life and artistry of my grandfather, an extraordinary painter. It is a deeply personal endeavor that I fully developed, produced, directed, and edited, aiming to go beyond the surface of his works. Through this film, I sought to uncover the stories, emotions, and experiences that breathe life into each painting. Every brushstroke tells a tale, but behind the canvas lies a journey of challenges, triumphs, and sparks of inspiration that have shaped his path. More than just a celebration of art, this documentary reveals a relentless passion for growth, self-discovery, and creative evolution. It captures the essence of a creator devoted not only to his craft but to exploring the uncharted depths of his own expression—showcasing the legacy of an artist who also happens to be my greatest inspiration.
